Patricia A. Sullivan, 93 years young, died peacefully on Feb. 18, 2018, at her residence at My Father's Retirement Ranch in Wickenburg after a brief decline in health brought on by heart failure.

Patricia was the daughter of William and Angela Sullivan of Chicago, Ill. She was married to George A. Sullivan (LTC. United States Army, retired) for almost 50 years and had five children: Roger, Andrew, Mary, Donna and Ann. She was predeceased by her husband and son Andrew. She was most proud of her children and their families--with 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

During George's career in the Army, Patricia managed the home front as successfully as any general commanding troops. She was the consummate officer's wife, handling the logistics of many reassignments and life on military bases around the world with absolute precision, discipline and dedication.

On George's retirement they settled in Arizona, first in Glendale and then in Wickenburg where they built a home in 1986.

They loved to travel the country together, seeing the sights and visiting family and friends. After George's death, Patricia continued to live in the home she loved for almost 20 additional years and until her move to My Father's Retirement Ranch three years ago.

The family wishes to thank her caregivers, especially Arizona Choice, Hospice of the Valley and the entire staff of My Father's Retirement Ranch for the excellent, professional and thoughtful service they provided our mother.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her memory to the Patricia Sullivan Scholarship Fund, Immaculate Conception Catholic School, 750 N. Bill Gray Road, Cottonwood, Ariz.

Patricia was a devout member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wickenburg and faithfully attended daily Mass. A funeral mass will be celebrated for her March 3 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 232 N. Tegner St. in Wickenburg.

Friends may offer online condolences at www.wickenburgfuneralhome.com. Arrangements were under the direction of Wickenburg Funeral Home & Crematory.
