| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, March 30, 2018, page 10a Ramon “Tony” Anthony Diaz, 58, of Alex, Oklahoma, passed away, Thursday, March 1, 2018, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Tony was born on June 13, 1959, in Superior, Arizona, to Louis and Dora Diaz. He attended Prescott High School. On Dec. 30, 1976, he eloped to Mexico to marry Darla Lavern Wilson. For most of his career, Tony was employed as a carpenter. In most recent years he owned his own hotshot trucking company. He was an avid reader and enjoyed going to the movies, being at the farm, Sunday dinners and serving the Lord, and most especially spending time with the grandkids. Tony is survived by his wife, Darla of the home; three children, Chantel Carroll and husband, Richard, Toni Lynn Diaz and partner, Zeke Gregory, of Alex, Oklahoma, Gene Diaz and wife Amber, of Chickasha, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Emalee, Abigayle, Chance, Austin, Finley, Jacelyn and Hadley; four brothers, David Diaz and partner Nancy Rego of California, Michael Diaz, Daniel Diaz and wife, Debbie, and Eddie Diaz and wife, Aimee of Arizona; sister, Theresa Diaz and partner, Victor Alvarado of Arizona; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by both parents, Louis and Dora Diaz of Arizona. Celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Watson Lake, Highway 89.
