Margaret Umbreit, 90, born in Denver, CO, passed away on March 25,
2018 in Prescott, AZ where she resided for 30 years.

In 1949, Margaret graduated from Mills College in Oakland, CA and
was married to the love of her life, Gerry Umbreit for 64 years.

They enjoyed traveling the world together. Margaret’s life was
filled with family, friends and music. After pursuing a short career
in social work, Margaret became a devoted mother to her three kids
and later grandmother to two grandsons.

Music filled her life with joy; she played her viola in a wide range
of music groups until this past year. She was also involved in
numerous civic groups and freely served others in need.

Margaret loved her family and friends and will be dearly missed.

A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held in April (date
pending) in Prescott.

There will also be a memorial service this summer in Denver. Feel
free to donate to a charity of your choice in Margaret’s memory.
