M.G. "Jeff" Marshall, 89, our loving father and grandfather, passed
away peacefully on July 25, 2016 at the Polidori House. He was born on
February 11, 1927 in Iberia, Ohio to James and Doris (Garfield)
Marshall.

Jeff was raised from age seven at his Aunt and Uncle's farm in central
Ohio, where he learned many valuable life skills. In eighth grade he
fell for "the new girl" at school, Virgie Conant. Upon graduation from
Marengo High School they were married on June 23, 1945 in Greenup, KY.
They had four children. This beautiful union lasted over 69 years, cut
"short" by Virgie's passing in August 2014.

In Jeff's lifetime he became a machinist, carpenter, tile-
setter, mason, silversmith, a perfectionist at whatever he did and was
mostly self-taught. Jeff and Virgie moved to LHC in August 1969 and
soon they learned to square dance and he became president of the Blue
Water Swingers when the huge dance was held under the London Bridge
during the dedication on October 1971.

Jeff worked on many homes in LHC and was especially proud to design
and build four of their very own. He became a car collector and won
many awards for his original Classic Buicks and proudly drove his
Model A's in local parades.

Jeff always worked hard to provide for his family and lovingly taught
us honesty and integrity. He will be sorely missed.

Jeff is survived by his son, George Marshall of Phoenix; daughter,
Vicki Hart of LHC; grandsons, Brad and Duston Hart. He was preceded in
death by his beloved wife of nearly 70 years, Virgie, infant sons,
Edwin and Terry, brothers, Jim and Sam and his parents and
grandparents.

Graveside service will be held at 9:00 AM on August 02, 2016 at Lake
Havasu Memorial Gardens.
