Thomas Smith Grimshaw

Thomas S. Grimshaw Sr., passed away on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018,
at his home in Humboldt, Arizona, with his wife, Beverly Wishart
Grimshaw, and dog, Heidi, at his side. He was born Oct. 3, 1940, in
Newport, New York, to Smith Grimshaw and Mary King Grimshaw.

In Newport, Tom worked on his family’s farm with his brothers and
sisters, Delbert Grimshaw, Allen Grimshaw, Irene Grimshaw Bronson,
Frank Grimshaw, Marion Grimshaw Victor, and Francis Grimshaw. Later,
he moved to Elizabeth, New Jersey, where he worked as a machinist.
Then he moved to Ilion, New York, where he worked at Bendix. Tom
moved to Humboldt, Arizona, in 2000, where he loved his maintenance
job at the Humboldt Post Office.

He was honored with the Volunteer of the Year by the Town of Dewey-
Humboldt.

Tom is survived by his children, Thomas S. Grimshaw, Jr., Timothy
Grimshaw, Brian Grimshaw, Kathy Grimshaw, Adam Grimshaw, Ken Ball,
Jeffrey Ball and David Ball.

A memorial service will be held at Mountain View Baptist Church, 395
S. Pony Place in Dewey on April 14 at 1 p.m.
