Affordable Burial & Cremation, LLC of Chino Valley, Arizona, handled all arrangements. ----------------------- The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, April 12, 2018, page 5a Leland “Lee” F. Carey Jr. passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at his home in Chino Valley, Arizona. Lee was born in Morrisdale, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 10, 1947, to Leland Sr. and Dorothy Carey. Lee’s family moved to Arizona from Pennsylvania when he was just a year old and settled in Prescott when he started 2nd grade at Miller Valley School. He graduated Prescott High School in 1965 and served his country while in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Lee retired from the City of Prescott after 25 years and spent his final years chasing grandkids. Lee is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Tiny; children, Stormy, Todd (Lesley) and Kim; and grandchildren Cody, Tyler, Peyton, Gavin, Dylan, Owyn, Landon, Lily, Tanner, Tariel and Teagan. Lee is also survived by 6 loving sisters Coralyn, Andrea (Mike), Barbara, Susie (Jim), Laura (Mike) and Billie as well as many nieces and nephews. Per Lee’s wishes, there will be no formal services. The family would like to thank Heidi, Dan, Molly, CJ and Mila of Kindred Hospice for their loving care during his final months. Information provided by survivors. |
