| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted on Sunday, April 8, 2018 - Phillip Hugh Hunter, 82, passed away April 3, 2018 in Lake Havasu City. He was born Aug. 20, 1935 in Kansas City, Missouri. Phillip served his country in the United States Navy. He married his true love, Carole, on June 29, 1955 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were blessed with 62 years together. Phil had a passion for flying radio controlled airplanes and was a member of the Desert Hawks RC Club of Lake Havasu City. He enjoyed people and had many friends. Phillip is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Madie Hunter, brothers Ray and John Hunter, and his son Robert Lee Hunter I. He is survived by his loving wife Carole Hunter, daughter Debra (Roger) Edwards, grandchildren Brian Harrell, Stacey Hunter and Robert (Evelyn) Hunter II, and great-grandchildren Dylan, Sayge, Skylee, Robert III and Valor as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
