| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 - Red Cline, 83, went to be with the Lord March 25, 2018 at Havasu Regional Medical Center with his wife, daughter and son at his side. He was born Feb. 16, 1935 in Berkley, Michigan to Floyd and Myrtle Cline. He had six brothers and two sisters. After high school, he served his country in the Army during the Korean War. When he finished his duty, he met the love of his life (Carol). They married in 1959 and moved to California where he worked and retired at Kaiser Steel. He enjoyed flying and got his instrument rated commercial license. He bought a summer home in Lake Havasu and enjoyed many weekends, fishing, boating, golfing and tooling around the desert in his jeep. He was a member of the Elks, American Legion VFW and the Eagles where he became president. He loved the Eagles and what it stood for “People helping people” Red was preceded in death by his daughter Kim Martin, his mother and father, sisters Rie and Florence, brothers Glen, Claude, Floyd and Ernie. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, daughter Sheri Allen (Frank) and Bret Martin, sister-in-law Emily Cline, Sharon Hoffman (Larry), five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He loved his family and was proud of each and every one of them. Red was the best husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. So today, we say goodbye as you take your final rest. We will love you infinity – Your Family. A celebration of life will take place at the Eagles at a later date. |
