Dorothy Jean (Phillips) Thrasher

Dorothy Jean Thrasher was born on April 16, 1924, to Calvin Cecil Phillips and Katie Leone Phillips in Porum, Okla. Dorothy passed away March 15, 2018, in Wickenburg.

The family moved to Glendale in 1932 and later moved to Aguila, where Dorothy worked as a tower operator at the Clayborn Flight Academy during WWII.

Dorothy married Daniel Hendrick Thrasher in 1944 and moved to Wickenburg in 1957.

Dorothy was a long-time Rebecca Lodge member, served on the Aguila School Board and served on numerous election boards. Dorothy loved to attend Wickenburg Wrangler baseball games.

Husband Dan Thrasher and son Thomas Eldon Pendergast, preceded Dorothy in death. Dorothy is survived by daughter Annette Davidson and son Larry Thrasher; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
