| Wickenburg Funeral Home & Crematory, Wickenburg, Arizona Margaret "Peggy" Wachter March 1, 1926 - April 10, 2018 Margaret "Peggy" Wachter, age 92, passed away April 10, 2018 in Surprise, Arizona. Peggy was born March 1, 1926 in Tucson, Arizona to Floyd "Speed" Wachter and Katherine Sorrells Wachter. She attended schools in Wickenburg and later graduated from Arizona State University in 1950. She began teaching in Coolidge, Arizona in 1950 and taught the 2nd grade at West School for 20 years and taught 6th grade for an additional 15 years. She retired in 1985 after 35 years of teaching. During her retirement she enjoyed working on genealogy on the computer and reading. She also enjoyed watching the family grow, as her nephews were born and grew up, married and had families of their own. Peggy was preceded in death by her mother and father Floyd & Katherine Wachter a brother Bob Wachter, niece Roiann Wachter and 2 great-nephews Bobby & James Wachter. She is survived by Robby & Vicki Wachter, David and Heidi Wachter and Andy & Samantha Wachter, sister in law Shirley Wachter and 8 great nieces and nephews and 4 great-great nieces and nephews as well as several cousins. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery See Also: Find A Grave |
