BLACKMON, Dixie

(Maiden Name: Kizziar)

12/16/1919 - 10/01/2015 -

Dixie Blackmon passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on 
October 1, 2015, at the age of 95.

She was born in the County of Eastland, Texas to William Henry Kizziar 
and Sarah Francis Rogers who were from Hot Springs, Arkansas. Dixie 
was the last of her thirteen brothers and sisters. She was married to 
the love of her life, Hubert Blackmon for 71 years. Hubert passed away 
June 7, 2007.

Dixie is survived by their two sons, Robert and Gary Blackmon, as well 
as daughter-in-laws Annie Blackmon and Smilja Blackmon ; four 
grandchildren Stephanie Gemmill and Tania Roselle , Drew and Grant 
Blackmon ; and six great-grandchildren Elyssa and Mathew Roselle, & 
Tommy , Darren , Bryce and Cole Blackmon. Dixie will be interned with 
Hubert in Lake Havasu, Arizona. She will be deeply missed.
