| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted on April 18, 2018 - Carol Ann Gohl, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2018 at the age of 73. She was born in Cloquet, Minnesota on February 24, 1945. Carol Sariin grew up in Cloquet, Minnesota, and it was there that she met her true love, Vernon Gohl. They were married on April 17, 1962 and were blessed with 56 years together. She worked for the United States Postal Service and raised three beautiful children. Carol and her husband moved to Lake Havasu City in 1999. She was an avid bowler, liked to golf, and enjoyed traveling and going to the casino. Her greatest joy was her family and she was a very proud grandma. She had a huge heart and loved to help people. She volunteered for Hospice of Havasu for eight years and was a special needs foster parent for Mohave County. Carol is preceded in death by her parents; Carl W. and Anna Sariin and her brother; Carl D. Sariin. She is survived by her loving husband; Vernon Gohl, sons; Dale (Annette) Gohl and David (Patti Gohl), daughter; Dawn Bjornson, brother; William (Lori) Sariin, sisters; Carla (Kevin) Eggerman and Linda Sariin, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 11:00 am. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
