Paul Richard Vitale

Paul Vitale was born on August 10, 1938 and raised in Rockford,
Illinois. He was the second child in a family of six kids. In 1957,
Paul enlisted in the army. The army brought him to Europe. While
there, Paul played and traveled with the post soccer team. One of his
greatest honors was to serve as part of the military honor guard.

After serving his country, Paul returned home and moved to California.
He met Bruna, his bride of 54 years, and together they raised three
children. As a family, they enjoyed camping in their trailer, hiking,
and fishing. Paul had four grandchildren and one great grandchild. He
worked in heating and air conditioning his entire career and started
as an apprentice and worked his way to become the Vice President at
one of the largest air and heating companies on the west coast.

Paul enjoyed his retirement with Bruna. They moved to Lake Havasu,
Arizona, and Paul and Bruna spent a lot of time traveling, they were
able to visit all 50 states. Paul enjoyed fishing and playing tennis
with his friends Bob, Stormy and Dick. Paul quit playing tennis at age
75 and then started playing ping pong. He was a life-long member of
the Elks lodge and one of his favorite things was to have dinner with
friends at the lodge. He was also a member of the Eagles while in Lake
Havasu.

After battling cancer for four years, Paul passed away on April 15,
2018. He was predeceased by his father Salvatore; his mother Lillie;
and his brother, Peter. Paul is survived by his wife Bruna, children,
Gina, Paul, and Julie; grandchildren; Victoria, Jessica, Erik, and
Paul III, and great grandchild, Aria. Paul is also survived by his two
sisters; Prudy and Diane and two brothers, Sam and David.

A celebration of Paul's life will be held at the Havasu Elks Lodge on
May 19, 2018, at 11:00 a.m.

Valley Home Health and Hospice.
