| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted on April 25, 2018 - Kerry Monier, sweet and loving daughter of local residents Dr. Jane Tawney and step father Tom Mc Corkendale, died April 4, 2018 in Victoria, Texas. Despite living with a long term illness, Kerry's life was filled with adventure. Living in Panama, Nigeria, Dubai and Egypt as well as Rapid City, SD., Humble and Victoria, TX. Kerry was born in Tacoma, WA on January 13, 1958. She began her first steps dancing and continued with that talent to later perform with the Shreveport Ballet production of the Nutcracker and an opera staring the famous operatic bass, Jerome Hines. Kerry is preceded in death by her father Arthur William (Bill) O'Meara of Phoenix. Kerry visited Lake Havasu several times where she made many friends. Her friends described Kerry as "always looking so put together and dainty". She is survived by her son Gerard Monier of Houston, TX. The oldest of four children, she is also survived by her sisters, Leslie Reyes of San Antonio, Cynthia Sanders of Bullhead City, Thomas O'Meara of Phoenix as well as half-brothers William and Robert O'Meara. 4 nieces and 2 nephews and her loving friend Michael Miles of Victoria, TX. |
