Chester R. Lockwood, 85, of Glendale, died Nov. 7, 1997. He was born in Douglas, and was a Navy veteran. He also was a member of the Musicians Union. Survivors include his wife, Valeria; daughters, Charlene and Marguerite; sons, Chester R. Jr. and Fred; stepdaughters, Edith and Owetta; stepson, Pete; sister, Charlotte Cox; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Monday, National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix. Botimer Funeral Home Inc.
