Jerry Lee Onken of Chino Valley, AZ born September 24, 1936 in
Hastings, Nebraska went to be with his Lord & Savior on April 5,
2018 in his home in Chino Valley with his wife and family at his
side.

Jerry was a man that never met a stranger and any that knew him
loved him. His family was always his first priority. He was an avid
outdoors man enjoyed golf, boating, water skiing, fishing, quad &
Harley motorcycle riding and mostly flying all around the country in
his plane. Jerry grew up in Hastings, loved being on his granddad’s
farm; he graduated early and moved to Carlsbad, California when he
was 17, but returned to Hastings after 2 months and helped out on
the farm. He surprised everyone by joining the Air Force with his
cousin Ken.

In 1955 he married Claudette Heuer and started a family. After
discharge he went back to California and started working with his
father in the mobile home business and farmed for his granddad each
summer. In 1980 Jerry married Robin Richter and the adventure began.
Both of them loved traveling & when he semi-retired in the early
90’s they went to many exciting places.

In 1999 at full retirement Jerry and Robin moved to Chino Valley to
be near grandchildren and family and continue with traveling. Early
2000’s he had some health issues and needed a new kidney and in
August of 2004 received one.

Jerry is survived by his wife Robin; son Mike Onken (Valerie);
daughters Pam Onken (Buck), and Patti Radovic (Andre);
grandchildren: Craig Onken, Janel Onken & Brook Radovic.

Jerry was a faithful believer in his savior Jesus Christ and enjoyed
reaching out to share the good news of Christ. He did this in many
different ways, by feeding the homeless, giving financial help to
those in need.

Jerry’s Celebration of Life will be Tuesday April 17, 2018 at 10am
at First Southern Baptist Church 1524 N. Highway 89 Chino Valley,
Arizona.
