| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, April 19, 2018, page 6a John Russell Marshall went into the presence of his Lord on April 8, 2018. He passed on peacefully, surrounded by his wife and three daughters, in his home in Prescott, Arizona. He was 84 years old. John was born on May 3, 1933 in Los Angeles, California. He served in the Army in Korea. He married Bonnie Jean Meeker in 1956. He retired from the Culver City Police Department in 1983, after 20 years of service; and was Security Manager for the Los Angeles Mission for five years. The Marshalls moved to Prescott in 2005. John had a strong faith in God and was passionate about biblical history. He served as a deacon and bible teacher for many years. In 2015, he became a published author with “Exogenesis” the first of a series of four novels. Mr. Marshall is survived by his beloved wife Bonnie, his three daughters and sons-in-law, eight grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. A memorial service will take place on April 30 at 10:30am at Solid Rock Christian Fellowship in Prescott. All are welcome to attend and celebrate John’s life.
