His Last Prospect.

Benjamin McElroy, a recent arrival in this section, passed away
yesterday at the County hospital after a brief illness.

He was a miner by occupation and had worked on the desert.

A sister, Mrs. Margaret A. Elberson, who resides at Ada, Ohio, his
only known relative, has been advised of his death.

Several years ago the deceased was reputed to have been quite
wealthy, but adversity overtook him.

Transcriber's note: Mr. McElroy was a Civil War Veteran, serving in
Co. E., 197th Ohio Infantry and he is buried at the Citizens
Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. This article was submitted by Sue
Burk.
