She was born in Portland, Ind., to John H. Binegar and Elizabeth (Davis) Binegar. She was one of four children: Brothers James and John Vinegar (sic), both deceased and a sister Mary Jo Shawver of California. Jeannie married Richard Brotherton who died in 1972. They had four children: Lisa Brown (David), Ben Brotherton (deceased), Ginger Newland and Richard Brotherton (Michele). Jeannie was a proud grandmother of seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren with another on the way in April. Jeannie lived a full life. Arrangements handled through David's Desert Chapel.
