Rosemary Hoeft was welcomed into heaven on April 18, 2018, at the
age of 77.

Rosemary was born in South Bend, Indiana, and moved with her parents
to Phoenix, Arizona, in 1946. Here, she began her love of animals
and greatly enjoyed raising and caring for horses. She graduated
from Camelback High School in 1959.

In 1960, Rosemary married the love of her life, John Hoeft. In 1963
and again in 1965, John and Rosemary brought their two children into
the world (William and Cheryl). Rosemary became involved in all
aspects of their children’s lives, participating in PTA throughout
their entire K-8th-grade tenure.

It was also during this time that Rosemary continued her passion of
helping animals and worked at a Phoenix Veterinary Clinic for 15
years. Rosemary also enjoyed camping several times a year with
family and friends and especially going to Page Springs, Arizona,
and San Diego, California.

In 2000, Rosemary and John moved to Prescott, Arizona, to retire.
Rosemary volunteered her time through the Prescott Chapter of the
Lions Club, as well as at Miss Kitty’s Animal Rescue.

Rosemary is survived by her husband of 58 years, John W. Hoeft of
Prescott; her children, William D. Hoeft of Las Vegas, and Cheryl L.
Hoeft of Prescott; grandchildren, Kahley R. McFadden, Kendra I.
Hoeft, Leah R. Haag, Brandon P. Haag, and Keaton J. Haag; and two
great-grandchildren, Laurent Gharfeh and Brogran L. McFadden.
