| The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, May 1, 2018, page 5a Loretta Marie (Garner) Bittman, 81, passed away at the Marley House in Prescott Sunday, April 22, 2018. She was born Nov. 8, 1936, the middle child of Chester and Myrtle Moore of Yuma. She had six brothers — Clifford, Jake, Calvin, Eugene, Bob and Keith — and two sisters, Edna and Irene. Loretta was a girl from the country who loved gardening, her beautiful roses, and her farm animals, specifically her peacocks. She prided herself on being a hard-working telephone operator at Mountain Bell and then with AT&T for more than 20 years. One would find Loretta in her home overlooking the beautiful views of Prescott, listening to Kenny Rogers and Willy Nelson, surrounded by her collection of Kachina Dolls. She loved to feed and watch birds, including hummingbirds. Loretta is survived by her daughter, Debby Crowser; and two sons, Steve Garner and Jack Garner; seven grandchildren — Brew, Salena, Christy, Aubrey, Chad, Clayton and Tyler — and three great- grandchildren: Kaylo, Lilian and Hunter, along with many sisters-in- law, nieces and nephews. Services will be held in the chapel at Johnson Mortuary & Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 1415 South 1st Ave., Yuma, Saturday, at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 5. Information provided by survivors. |
