Kathleen Ann (Rieder) Leick

Kathleen Ann Leick, loving mother and devoted Montessori Teacher of
the Good Shepherd, entered into Eternal Rest on April 27, 2018.
Kathleen was born on April 17, 1943, in Vinton, Iowa, and was a
resident of Arizona for more than 50 years, most recently in
Prescott.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her mother, Nelda (Sindt) Rieder;
her father, Bernard Rieder; her two brothers, Richard and Gerald
Rieder; and her grandson, Brian Arcate.

She is survived by four brothers: James Rieder, Daniel Reider, Tony
Rieder and David Rieder; as well as two sisters: Colleen Shaffer and
Joan Zelezny.

Kathleen loved and took great pride in her five children and their
spouses: Daniel Runkle (Lynda), Karen Arcate (Joseph E.), Kim Runkle
(James Yonkers), Kerry Runkle, and Mark Leick. Kathleen cherished
all of her grandchildren, including Daniel and Lynda’s sons: Adam,
Sean, and Austin Runkle; and Karen and Joseph’s children: Caitlin
Zyskowski, Joseph W. Arcate, and Robert Arcate. Kathleen leaves
behind many beloved nieces and nephews and close friends.

She was a humble servant of the Catholic faith, whose gracious and
grateful spirit touched many lives.

A funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 7, at 11 a.m., at St.
Francis de Sales Catholic Church at 1375 S. Camino Seco in Tucson,
Arizona.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation are encouraged
to contribute to The Thomas More Society (www.ThomasMoreSociety.org)
or Marians of the Immaculate Conception (www.marian.org)
