Wyndol Evans Hicks passed away on August 25, 2016 in Lake Havasu City,
Arizona at the age of 97. She was born to Wyndol and Olive (Gaston)
Evans in Atlanta, Georgia on July 8, 1919.

Wyndol had a life time of rich experiences. She attended the
historically famous Gone With the Wind premier ball in Atlanta on
December 14, 1939 with her dashing date, Ralph J. Hicks. She married
her true love, Ralph on January 26 1940 and they shared a lifetime of
love and adventure. Wyndol was a pioneer and loved to travel and go
places she had never been before. She and Ralph traveled to 49 states
in their RV and collected many rocks along the way to contribute to
their lapidary hobby.

Bible study was important to Wyndol and she spent many hours reading
the word of God. She was a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church
and was committed to the love of her church family, her friends and
her community. She loved Lake Havasu City and was proud of what it had
become since 1974 when she moved here.

Wyndol is preceded in death by her husband; Ralph J. Hicks and her
parents; Wyndol and Olive Evans.

She is survived by her son; Ralph Johnson Hicks Jr., her daughter;
Elaine Hicks LeBosquet, three grandchildren and numerous great-
grandchildren.
