| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, May 9, 2018, page 6a Jacqueline Marian Allen passed away at the age of 87 on April 15, 2018, in Camp Verde, Arizona. Jackie was born in Prescott, Arizona, on Jan, 11, 1931. Jackie was oldest daughter to Jack and Lucille Whitney. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, sister Rebecca Caroline, sister Shirley Mahan, and daughter Donna Card. She is survived by her husband Ted Allen; sisters, Joan Rice and Judy Haddon; her daughter Vickie James of Prescott; son Richard Allen; and daughter in law Renee Allen of Camp Verde, Arizona. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Sarah Wight, Cheryle Hargett, and David James and three great grandchildren. Jackie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She often said, “I am a young soul in an old body.” Jackie graduated from Prescott High School class of ’49. Jackie worked at The Old Mill, Yavapai Electric, and then at Allen Electric Rewind in Prescott. Jackie wanted to have family and friends come together to Celebrate her Life. A Celebration of her life will be held at the Smoki Pueblo in Prescott, Arizona, on May 20, 1-6 p.m. Information provided by survivors. |
