| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted on Friday, May 18, 2018 - Steve Lamar Walker, age 63, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 6, 2018, surrounded by his loved ones in Modesto, California. He was born on May 18, 1954 in Jackson, Mississippi to James Walker and Lela Jones. He married his late wife Linda Walker on September 19, 1972 and spent most of his career working at Crazy Horse Campgrounds in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He worked hard for everything he had and worked to provide for his entire family. He gave the best that he had to offer in everything that he did and exemplified a strong work ethic that is not often seen these days. He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Walker and his son, Johnny Walker. He is survived by his daughter Kathy (Joe) Whitson; his step father J.D. Jones; his brothers Jimmy (Cindy) Walker and Coy (Glenda) Jones; his three grandchildren, Angel, Elizabeth, and Hezekiah Whitson; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Family, friends, and others whose lives Steve touched are invited to celebrate his life this Saturday at 2:00 pm at Crazy Horse Campgrounds in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. |
