| Weekly Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, December 15, 1915, page 5, column 5 Bright's Disease Fatal To Pioneer (From Saturday's Daily) Joseph Brazil, for over forty years a resident of this county, passed away yesterday from Bright's disease after a long illness. He formerly resided in this city, but in late years had been farming in the Verde Valley. He was ages 78 years, a native of Portugal and leaves a widow to mourn his loss. No other relatives live in this country. The body is at Ruffner's. The funeral will take place Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock from the Church of the Sacred Heart. Transcriber's note: Mr. Brazil is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. |
