Pioneer Family Is Doubly Afflicted

(From Friday's Daily)

Mrs. Ignacio Brazil passed away last night about 10 o'clock from
pneumonia, after an illness of only a few days, at her home on South
Granite street.

She was aged 78 years, and her death recalls the sad fate which
seems to hover her home. He husband, Joseph Brazil, having died
only two weeks ago, after a few days' illness.

Mr. and Mrs. Brazil were among the oldest residents of this section,
their arrival dating back forty years. They were of Portuguese
nationality, and people who were held in high esteem and who enjoyed
the good will of all.

The remains are at Ruffner's. The death of Mrs. Brazil takes away
the last known member of the family.

Transcriber's note: Mr. Brazil is buried in an unmarked grave at the
Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
