| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted on Sunday, May 20, 2018 - Frances (Fran) J. McNeely, 88, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2018. She was the daughter of Frank and Gertrude Lens, born in Amiret, Minnesota on March 23, 1930. Following her early years growing up in Marshall, Minnesota, Fran visited Colorado with some girlfriends and never returned. Following many years as a bookkeeper and banker, she moved to Grand Lake, Colorado where she was the co-founder/owner of Hi Country Patrol and Snow Removal and the Mustang Gas Station and Towing Service. In 1985, Fran and her husband retired to Lake Havasu City. They enjoyed fishing, boating and spending many summers travelling the country on their motorcycle and travel trailer. Fran's remaining years were spent in Northern California with her loving family. Fran was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Richard J. McNeely. She will be dearly missed by her loving son Tim McNeely (Leigh Ann), grandson Quinn, granddaughter Peyton, sisters Dolores Madsen and Lorraine Anderson, brothers Charles Lens and John Lens plus many other family members and dear friends.
