Mrs. Eliza Moker Claimed By Death

Mrs. Eliza Moker died yesterday at the county hospital, following a
long illness. Mrs. Moker, who lived in Prescott for 47 years, would
have been 78 years old Sunday. She was born in St. Joseph, Mo.,
February 8, 1870.

Mrs. Moker was highly esteemed by a wide circle of friends and for
many years was a caterer for many social affairs. The family home
was 329 North Virginia street.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Missouri Jane Hayes, of Los
Angeles, who has been here for several months; also two grandsons,
James and Herman Smith, of New York City, and two great
grandchildren. Her husband, Marshall Moker, died her in 1919.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in
the A. M. E. Zion church, with the Rev. W. E. Youngblood
officiating.

Burial will be in the Citizens cemetery, where the Yavapai Eastern
Star chapter will conduct their ritual at the grave.

The Lester Ruffner Funeral Home is in charge of funeral
arrangements.
