| Arizona Daily Star, Tucson, Arizona Sunday, June 7, 1953, page 9, columns 7 & 8 Roland R. Reading Roland R. Reading, 57, died Thursday in a Los Angeles hospital. A World War I veteran and a partner in the J. and F. Pump and Supply Co., Mr. Reading lived at 3542 Valencia avenue. He was a resident of Tucson for 22 years. Mr. Reading is survived by his wife, Ila I.; two sons, David Roland and Howard Alvin, both of Tucson; a daughter, Ila Joan of Tucson; his father, David Reading, of Topanga, Calif.; a brother, Robert, of Topanga; and three uncles, W. D. Reading, of Winkleman, George Reading of Monette, Mo., and Will Lathrop, of Carl Junction, Mo. The body will lie in state from 2 to 8 p.m. today in Bring's funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Bring's chapel. Rev. Maurice G. Ballenger, of Catalina Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in South Lawn memorial park. |
