He was born April 20, 1938, in Washburn, Mo. He was preceded in death by son David Dalton in 2017, his parents and 11 brothers and sisters. Johnnie is survived by his wife Dorothy of Congress; children Betsy (Kirk) Gordon of Montana, Shelah Dalton (Chuck) of Washington, Michael (Holly) Dalton, Robert (Jude) Dalton, both of Congress and John Boy (Christine) Dalton of Morenci; sister Roberta "Robbie" Waldrip; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
