Shirley Cooley Wilkinson
Aug. 3, 1929 - March 12, 2018

On March 12, 2018, our beloved mother and grandmother, Shirley Cooley Wilkinson Lauzon, passed on to heaven to be with those she loved and missed in her life. She suffered a long illness from Parkinson's disease. She was 88 years old.

She was born to her parents William Calvin and Mabel Cooley on Aug. 3, 1929, in Phoenix.

Most people of Wickenburg knew her as the owner/operator of the Big W Drive-In, where she made many friends and lots of good food. Her wisdom, wit and laughter are known to many, both young and old. She was a great story teller, had instant recall of quotes and sayings, a master at card games, yard saler extraordinaire, and a seamstress unlike any other. The many ways she touched our lives will remain in our
cherished memories until we meet again.

She is survived by three daughters; Sharon Lund of Delta, Colo., Laura Nasser of Wickenburg and Debra Mead of Carson City, Nev.; seven grandchildren Nancee Kramer, Tami Smolinski, Mandi Lund, Alisa Ironside, Leslie Martin, Jason Mead, Ashley Mead and 13 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be with family at a later date.
