Old Resident Is Called To Reward
(From Thursday's Daily)
John Ross, a German by birth, was found dead in his bed at the
Frontier House, yesterday morning. An examination of the body
disclosed no marks of violence, and no evidence that his death was
caused by his own hands. The coroner's jury brought in a verdict that
he died from unknown causes.
Deceased was well known in this city, where he resided for several
years. His health had been failing for several months, and it is
believed that he passed away from a hemorrhage of the lungs.
He was about 50 years of age. He leaves no relatives surviving him
here.
Transcriber's note: Mr. Ross is buried at the Citizens Cemetery, in
Prescott, Arizona.
