A-5 Richard Patrick Tobin Jan. 7, 1954 - March 27, 2018 Richard Patrick Tobin, born Jan. 7, 1954, passed away in his home in Wickenburg on March 17, 2018, after a 15 month battle with brain cancer. Rick served our country in the US AirForce for six years. He was a teacher in Big Bear Lake, Calif., for almost 30 years before retiring in June of 2016. He was a brilliant man, humble, kind and giving. He had an insatiable passion for writing, music and reading. Painting was his hobby. He leaves behind his wife, Megan of 18 years, step-son Nathan Ellis; grandson Shelden Ellis of Wickenburg, daughter Mollie of Thornbury VIC, Australia, son Conor of Tehachapi, sister Marianne Lindleaf of Huntington Beach, brother Mick Tobin of Carlsbad, sister Terese Lutz of Oregon, brother Tom Tobin of New Jersey and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed in so many ways. it was his request that no service be held.
