William Robert (Bill) Dickson

Long time Auburn resident, William Robert Dickson "Bill" passed away
on March 5, 2011 at the age of 98. He was born December 8, 1912 in
Kingman Arizona and lived in Southern California for 50 years. Bill
worked in Encino California as a landscape gardener and nurseryman
until he and his wife Molly moved to Auburn in 1971, where Bill worked
at Eisley's nursery until his retirement in 1991. Bill loved
gardening, walking, playing guitar and harmonica. He especially loved
metal detecting in and around the Foothills.

Survivors include his daughter, two grandchildren, four great
grandchildren, one great-grandchild, three nieces and two nephews.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
