| No name of newspaper No date of article In Prescott, June 12, 1886, a hemorrhage of the lungs, W. S. Valentine, a native of Scotland, aged about 34 years. His funeral was very largely attended and imposing. The 10th Cavalry Band, a detachment of Soldiers, the 2nd Militia Companies of Prescott and a large concourse of citizens in carriages and on foot took part in the obsequies and testified to the high esteem in which the deceased was held in the community.
