A-5 Maxine Lela Holmes June 26, 1942 - April 4, 2018 Maxine Lela Holmes, 75, of Wickenburg passed away April 4, after brief hospitalization. Born June 26, 1942, to Vern and Hattie Holmes (Reed), she married Jerry Elston Ford and had three sons Jeff, Dean (Andy) and Brian. They also had one daughter Penny, who married Kenneth Craft and had their son Scott and daughter Patricia. Maxine leaves behind two brothers Jim and Chuck, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerry and son Jeff. She will eternally reside in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Maxine loved crossword puzzles, which were an analogy of her life, trying to find the answers in black and white squares by solving clues. By getting the easy answers first, sometimes you solve the harder ones that intersect. If not, you put the crossword down and reconnect the dots later. Love you Mom.
