| Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, March 14, 1973, page 14, column 1 Densmore H. Hess Prescott - Services for Densmore H. Hess, 78, who died Sunday at the Veterans Administration Center, will be at 2 p.m tomorrow in the Veterans Administration Chapel. Burial will be in the Veterans Administration Cemetery. Mr. Hess was born in Pennsylvania and served 31 years in the Army, retiring in 1948 as a master sergeant. He served in World War I in Europe, the Philippines, Hawaii and Panama. He was a member of the American Legion Ernest A. Love Post 6, and a former member of Bucky O'Neal Post of Veterans of Foreign Wars 541. He had owned and operated a chicken ranch in Chino Valley for the past eight years. Survivors include his wife, Genevieve; a daughter, Mrs. Laurene Beil of Millstadt, Ill.; two sisters out of state; numerous nieces and nephews, a three grandchildren.
