A-5 Rick Reed June 3, 1952 - April 27, 2018 Rick Reed was born in St. Louis, Mo., to Robert Allen Reed and Ethel Mae (Albertson) Reed on June 3, 1952, and died on April 27, 2018, after a short illness. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lanna Regehr Mesenbrink of Wickenburg; sister, Robin Ann Mitra (Michael A.) of Lake St. Louis, Mo.; brother, Ronald Allen Reed (Wynne); three nephews, Michael Steven Rosa (Angela), Kyle Daniel Rosa and Miles Raymond Rosa (Heather); godmother, Eileen Garcia, all of St. Louis; stepsons, Michael Regehr Shubic of Wickenburg and Jeffrey George Sallaway (Liz) of Bellingham, Wash.; also several great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother; Roy Allen Reed. Rick loved the desert and was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying many activities including hiking, backpacking and horseback riding. After moving to Wickenburg from the Superstition Mountain area, he became a DC Rider in the Cheapskates Camp, and was a past member of the Desert Caballeros Board of Directors. Rick was a kind and gentle man who left us much too early. He will be missed by so many.
