| Arizona Republic (Phoenix, AZ) Tuesday, January 12, 1982, p. D2 Peoria--Thomas "Tommy" R. Walker, 74, who had owned Tommy Walker's Feed Lot in Glendale until 1972, died Jan. 9, 1982, in Boswell Hospital. Mr. Walker was brought to Arizona 70 years ago from his native Texas. He was a past president of the Arizona Rodeo Association, a past captain of the Westside Mounted Sheriff's Posse and a charter member of the Glendale Elks Lodge. He also was a member of the Arizona Cattle Feeders and Growers associations and Arizona Quarter Horse Breeders Association. He had ranched in Yavapai and Mohave counties after coming to the state in 1912. Survivors include his wife, Gertrude; daughters, Betty Bartol and Barbara Anderson; six grandchildren; and a sister. Services will be 3 p.m. today in Chapel of the Chimes, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale. See Also: Find A Grave |
