| Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, September 14, 1952, page 8, column 2 Mrs. Josephine Buckman, 92, Dies; Came To State In '98 Mrs. Josephine Buckman, 92, resident of Arizona for 54 years, died Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John William Conklin, 2738 W. Taylor, with whom she made her home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Ruffner Funeral Home Chapel, 303 S. Cortez St., in Prescott. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary has charge of local arrangements. Mrs. Buckman was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She came to Arizona in 1898 and for many years lived in Prescott. She cam to Phoenix from there in 1940 to live with her daughter. Two other daughters, Mrs. Clyde Cox, and Mrs. A. E. Cunningham, both of Boise, Idaho; and three grandchildren also survive.
