| Prescott Morning Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Monday, May 26, 1902, page 3, column 2 John Slattery, aged about 40, a well-known miner and good man and citizen, died at McCabe last Saturday. The body was brought to Prescott and was buried from Logan's undertaking parlors yesterday, under the auspices of the McCabe miner's union. Members of the union and also of the Groom Creek union came in to attend the funeral. Deceased had lived in this section for a number of years. He leaves sisters and brothers who are residents of California. Transcriber's note: Mr. Slattery is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. |
