Death Of Spadino

Adolh (sic) Spadino, who was suddenly stricken on Montezuma street on
Sunday evening, died at the hospital on Tuesday afternoon without
regaining consciousness. The cause of the fall is supposed to have
been heart trouble and in the fall on the cement sidewalk his skull
was fractured and a portion of the bone was pressed into the brain.

The only signs of consciousness manifested by him after the accident
was on Tuesday morning when his partner, F. G. Capocetti took him by
the hand and Spadino responded by pressing his hand and apparently
attempting to speak, but was unable to articulate.

Deceased was a single man about forty years old and was universally
liked by all who knew him. He had resided in Prescott about three
years, coming here from Los Angeles. He was an artist by profession
and followed this calling prior to coming to Arizona, ands had
considerable ability in this line.

He has a sister, also a sister in law and several nephews and nieces
in St. Paul, Minn., who have been notified of his death.

He was a native of Switzerland but had resided in the United States
ever since he was a small boy, coming to this country with his
parents.

Pending the receipt of word from his relatives, also from some lodges
to which he belonged in Los Angeles, no definite arrangements have
been made about the funeral.

He was a member of a lodge of Hermann's Sons, also of the Foresters of
America in Los Angeles.
