| Published in Today's News Herald on June 20, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Our beloved sister in Christ, Lynn Edwards, lost her fight with cancer June 3. 2018 while at her home in Lake Havasu City surrounded by family. She went out of this world and into the arms of the Lord. She was born on April 7, 1952 in Los Angeles, California, the second child of Mark and Marcella King Sivert. She grew up with her four siblings in Southern California. She married Ken Reinbold, and later Doug Edwards, had three children. She last worked at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach. In 2000, Lynn moved to Lake Havasu City and became an integral part of the Jamaica Elementary School staff. She loved her school family and was involved in several community organizations including K-12 Foundation, Beta Sigma Phi, Delta Kappa Gamma and TOPS. Lynn is survived by her daughter Danielle (Tim), sons Stephen and Jeffrey, sisters Margie and Marian, brother Philip, and grandchildren Stella, Deegan, Ivy, and Christian. Lynn is preceded in death by her parents and older brother, David. To say that Lynn will be missed is an understatement. She left a hole in our hearts too big to ever fill and a reckoning of her presence in our lives. Her love for her children, grandchildren and family was unsurpassed. Her kind, caring, and forgiving spirit will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of life honoring Lynn is at Calvary Baptist (Sweetwater Campus) on Friday, June 29 at 1 p.m. |
