Dies At The Hospital
J. Stevens, a Canadian by birth, who was a few days ago brought to the
county hospital from Seligman, suffering from a general collapse, died
as the result of his illness at an early hour Sunday morning.
Deceased was a laborer, and was without friends or money at the time
he was first taken sick.
All that can be learned of him is that he was a native born Canadian,
was 44 years of age, and had been in this section of the country for
some two years past. Such inquiry as was possible to be made
developed nothing with reference to his family relations.
Transcriber's note: Mr. Stevens is buried in an unmarked grave at the
Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
