VAN DEYL, Lisa Marie


Published in Today's News Herald on June 20, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Lisa Marie Van Deyl - Oct. 14, 1970–June 14, 2018 - Lisa Marie Street Van Deyl, 47, passed away June 14 after her two-year battle with lung cancer. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to Steve and Patsy Street. She moved to Lake Havasu in 2002 to live closer to her mother. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Steve Street, and stepfather Donald Fletcher. Lisa is survived by her wife of 10 years, Katie Stevens, mother Patsy Fletcher, Son Nathan (Ciara) Street, daughter Christine (David) Knox- Doyle, and three grandchildren, Mckenna, Donald, and Olivia, who were her greatest joy. Also her sister Lynda (John) Woods, brothers Jason Shaffer and Shelby Fletcher and dear friends Amanda Darby and Kim Grabski. Also Lisa's friend June Meyers, whom she met on Facebook, but never met in person. They shared many conversations together. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Lisa had many followers on Facebook's Onions and Orchids community, and they admired her for her positivity and strength. Their love and support kept her smiling through it all. There are no burial plans. Lisa donated her body to Science Care, in hopes of finding a cure. A private memorial service is at a later date.
