Sherman passed away July 3, 2018 in Lake Havasu. He was 87 yrs. old. He was born in Angora, Minn in 1930 to James and Laurel Sherman. He served his country in the Army. In August of 1953 he married Maryann Bortmann. They had a daughter Doreen born in 1955. In 1958 they moved to San Diego, Ca where he worked for the U.S. Postal Service. In 1986 Roger and Maryann moved to Lake Havasu. In 2015 Roger lost the love of his life. They were Married 62 yrs. Roger enjoyed playing horse shoes, ping pong, bowling and boccie ball. He also loved NASCAR He leaves behind his daughter Doreen Desmond of Lake Havasu, grandchildren Julie and Ryan, great-grandchildren Tyla and Jaxon all of San Diego. Roger will be so greatly missed but forever loved in the hearts of his family and friends. Services were in the care of Mohave Memorial Lake Havasu Mortuary.
