| Worcester Telegram & Gazette (Massachusetts) Friday, October 13, 2017 Sun City, AZ--Richard A. "Dick" Nelson formerly of Upton, and Dudley, MA passed away Tuesday October 10 at the Serenity Hospice Care Facility, in Phoenix, AZ, after a courageous battle with Bile Duct cancer. Dick worked as a computer analyst for the majority of his career at several companies including Multi-Bank, Kaiser Aluminum and Motorola before his retirement. Upon retirement he worked for Habitat for Humanity in Wickenburg, AZ. Dick leaves behind his wife of thirty-four years, Davene Nelson; he also leaves his four sons, Richard M. Nelson and his wife Rosiane of Shrewsbury, Kevin P. Nelson of Ashburnham, Brian S. Nelson and his wife Lisa of Worcester, Jeffrey A. Nelson and his wife Donna of Tamworth, NH; and his stepdaughter, Roberta L. Bolt and her husband Darrell of Sun City, AZ. In addition he leaves behind his sister-in-law, Gloria Nelson of Upton; six grandchildren, one great-grandson, a nephew, two nieces and his first wife, Karen Nelson Rogers of Shrewsbury. He is preceded in death by his brother, Donald Nelson. There are no calling hours, and after cremation, Dick will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ.
