| Published in Today's News Herald on June 7, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Lloyd Allan Swander, 88, passed away in his home in Lake Havasu City on June 3, 2018. He was born to Louis and Velma Swander in Albany, Oregon on May 10, 1930. Lloyd married his high school sweetheart, Joann. They built their lives in Albany until retirement. He worked as a milkman and salesman, enjoyed photography, fishing, boating, camping, and people. He always had an entertaining story to share and a quick smile. After retiring, they traveled through the U.S. with a fifth wheel, built a house in Havasu and got involved with Good Sam and Lake Havasu Baptist Church. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Joann. He is survived by sons Greg (Bonnie) and Jeff (both of Havasu), daughter Melinda DeArment (Albany), sister Joann Eastburn (Albany) and granddaughters Sunny (Tyler) Oates (San Francisco) and Sheena Swander (Phoenix).
