Body Of Ralph Thomas To Be Buried Here
The body of Ralph H. Thomas, aviator machinist, who was killed in a
collision between a seapland and an army airplane at Cocosolo, in the
Panama Canal Zone, will arrive in Prescott today, having been sent
home by the naval authorities for interment.
Thomas' mother lives in Prescott, and the funeral, which will be
conducted by Lester Ruffner's mortuary chapel next Tuesday, will be
attended by many friends, including members of the American Legion.
Thomas enlisted in the navy the day the United States declared war on
Germany, and on account of his ability as a mechanic was assigned to
duty with a naval airplane squadron. He was a member of the Prescott
High School.
